The leitmotif of Cosmoprof 2019, the world’s leading trade fair for the cosmetics and beauty industry, is sustainability. This topic is also very important to Tucano, attending the 52nd Edition of the Bologna-based fair, scheduled from March 14–18, with a project that represents the company’s “green philosophy” and with a stand focused on the environment and innovative solutions, which are useful for keeping it in balance.
In an environment largely dedicated to green cosmetics, Tucano is presenting a new sustainable material, used to make two backpacks, which are additions to already well-known collections. This material can be also be used for any bag, pouch or beauty organizer in order to satisfy the sophisticated needs of the cosmetics industry. A material obtained from recycled plastics, treated and reprocessed so that it can be used a second time, an important quality in today’s environment where waste is no longer acceptable.

This year Tucano is excited to return to Dusseldorf’s PSI with some very attractive products on offer. We will be in Hall 11 Booth H21 PSI is the leading European trade show for promotional products and it welcomes eighteen million visitors every year. Pink is Good is a Veronesi Foundation project working to support the fight against breast cancer and to promote prevention so that women can be diagnosed in the early stages and be better prepared to fight and defeat the disease.
On Sunday, 22 October, there will be a “pink run” that will start from the Piazza Castello at 10:30 a.m. The participants will be contributing to the funding of 10 scholarships for researchers specializing in breast cancer treatment.
Tucano has donated 130 trolleys to the core event, a testimonial involving the women who have fought against the disease and won their personal battles.
Tucano enthusiastically supports this project and considers both research and prevention essential for women’s health.

For fashion week in Milan and Paris, having recently launched the O.D.D.S collection of raw-edged, neoprene backpacks and accessories with visible seams, Tucano has planned a marketing event with the MP Management modeling agency. During fashion week in Milan and Paris, three hundred models will be carrying the Trap backpack from the O.D.D.S. collection, chosen especially for the occasion and personalized ad hoc.
Tucano has focused on two special colors chosen for the initiative: sand and olive green. This marketing event is very significant for Tucano, as it has only recently made its debut in the fashion sector with an interesting and innovative selection of products: the collection dubbed O.D.D.S., which stands for “Our Dreams Deserve Space”. In addition to its special features, raw-edged neoprene with visible seams, our new line of casual backpacks and bags also stands out for its sophisticated shapes, its color palette, and its color-coordinated micro accessories.
