Tucano at Venice International Film Festival 2024 a 20-year collaboration between art and sustainability

This year Tucano is again participating in the Venice Biennale’s International Film Festival, celebrating the 20th anniversary of this important collaboration. The partnership between Tucano and the Biennale Cinema is an example of how Italian excellence can combine art, culture, innovation and environmental sustainability.

Over the years, Tucano has provided iconic bags that have become a symbol of the event. Even in 2024, Tucano continues to be the official supplier of shoppers for the Festival, made of recycled plastic, in line with a strong commitment to eco-sustainability.

Directed by Alberto Barbera, the Venice Film Festival 2024 will have Sveva Alviti as godmother and Damien Chazelle as jury president. Among the Italian titles in competition are anticipated works such as Gianni Amelio’s “Battlefield” and Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer.” There is also great interest in the foreign films in competition, including Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and Todd Phillips’ “Joker: Folie à Deux.”
