Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2024: Tucano Joins as a Green Partner for a Sustainable Future

From September 26 to 30, 2024, Turin hosted the 15th edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, an event dedicated to good, clean, and fair food. Parco Dora was transformed into a vibrant international hub, attracting over 300,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors from 120 countries. The theme of this year’s edition, “We Are Nature,” emphasized the need for a new relationship with nature through food, offering solutions for a sustainable future.

Key topics included sustainable agriculture and biodiversity protection, with a focus on urban regeneration and food policies. During the five-day event, more than 1,000 activities brought together producers, chefs, activists, and young people, all sharing the common goal of rethinking the food system to address global environmental challenges.

In line with the values of the event, Tucano participated as a Green Partner by creating the official tote bag, made entirely from recycled plastic. This tangible action highlighted a commitment to more eco-friendly practices, helping to reduce the environmental impact of the event.
