Journey to the centre of the leather goods industry: at the ILM of Offenbach, from 8 to 10 March

In the heart of Germany and Europe, Offenbach is a small town just outside of Frankfurt that hosts the continent’s biggest event dedicated to leather goods and all the new ideas for bags and items related to the world of travel.
We’re talking about ILM, the International Leather Goods Fair, to be held in Offenbach from 8 to 10 March 2014. After our presence last year, we will be back with a new stand to introduce all our new genuine leather travel products. You will find us at stand B3-15.
In addition to our best-selling Tema, Elle and One Premium collections made of genuine leather, at ILM we will unveil our company’s latest additions especially dedicated to travel, such as our Shine, Edge and Duetto lines. All designed for the contemporary traveller: to be, those of us who are never without our digital assistants.

But we also unveil our new collection of Pilot trolleys, which are ideal for hand luggage, and our Weekend line of bags: as the name suggests, perfect for getting away from the city in style. Also, it might as well be the occasion to take a look of other two brand new collections, specifically conceived for the “luggage world”: Volo and Agio.

We look forward to seeing you at stand B3-15 and we’ll be happy to show you all of Tucano’s travel solutions.

Abile. Because everyday life is a journey.

Abile. Because everyday life is a journey.

It’s always time to travel, whether it’s to the other side of the world or from home to office. Because everyday life is an on-going journey.
Precisely because magic may be in store with every trip, our designers have come up with something that goes beyond the classic laptop backpack. The result is Abile, a backpack that turns into a travel bag when needed – and back again. In short, it has been designed for those who are always ready to go.

Abile incorporates everything you need to be active at work: a protective compartment for your laptop or MacBook up to 15” and a convenient Multi-Fit pocket that is ideal for all types of iPad or tablet, as well as a great space for all documents.

There’s more to life than work, though. When you decide to flee the city, you can fill your Abile to the brim with everything you need for your weekend thanks to its dual access front pocket.

You can choose to fold and store the shoulder straps in a dedicated compartment on the back. Abile turns ninety degrees and transforms into a travel bag, making it a faith companion for your adventures.
Abile has been created not to go unnoticed: you can choose from orange, fuchsia or blue, or alternatively you can opt for black, which never goes out of style. Abile is ready for your next trip.

A container filled with bargains

A container filled with bargains

Bargains, sometimes, hide where you least expect them… in a container, for example.
Don’t worry, we aren’t talking about trafficking at the harbour. On the 20th of February, the Tucano’s ConTemporary Shop opens officially. This unique container is indeed an itinerant shop, where everyone can find discounts and extraordinary bargains.
Its first two stop are in Northern Italy where we’ll be looking forward to offer you deals up to 70% off – yes, 70%! – on a selection of products. So, hurry up!

You’ll find the ConTemporary Shop:

> From the 20th February to the 20th of March, at Vicolungo The Style Outlet, between Milan and Turin, motorway exit A4 Biandrate-Vicolungo
> From the 24th March to the 20th April, at the Orio al Serio Airport in Bergamo

Discounts from 20% to 70%… Is there anything better to fuel your longing for shopping?  Let’s choose one (or more) of our bags, tablet, iPad, iPhone or smartphone cases!
Isn’t that enough? There will be also our real leather bags, exceptionally on sale!

The Venice Carnival with the little ones, surrounded by masks and cookie houses.

The Venice Carnival with the little ones, surrounded by masks and cookie houses.

Over the last year, we have been going to Venice more and more often, and 2014 will be no exception.
After introducing the Industry Office Bag for the 70th Venice International Film Festival and designing the Official Tote Bag of the 55th International Art Exhibition, we are returning to collaborate with our friends of the Venice Biennale on another important event for the lagoon city: the Carnival, of course!
We are particularly focusing on the youngest participants: we will be attending the fifth edition of the International Kids’ Carnival, this year with the theme of “the Cookie Cottage”.
A large number of elementary schools students from Venice, as well as the rest of Italy and Europe, will gather together from 22nd February to 4th March in the areas of the Biennale to celebrate with disguises and lots of creative activities!
Some examples? Live performance with themed dances, a Grand Workshop where our little one will create masks, hats and costumes and… a culinary experiment involving the construction of a real cookie house, which gives the event its name.

We’ll be there with our “unmissable” lanyards that we will present to all participants. As on previous occasions, this is a gadget made by our ByTucano division.

Live from the International CES in Las Vegas

Live from the International CES in Las Vegas

Our folks have landed in Las Vegas at the International CES. That’s to say the world-level event where cutting-edge technology shows off its brightest side. Like every year, all the consumer electronics brands are deep into a competition to surprise the public with the most advanced gadgets and exhibition spaces.

This year we’ve decided to do something different. No more a regular booth, but several informal meetings around the pavilions with old and new friends of Tucano in the US. So, we’ve also had a chance to take a look of the new inspiring hi-tech hot stuff such as the Li-Fi wireless technology (a speed-of-light WiFi), 3D printers, wearable gadgets, and bigger, sharper and curved HD screens… yes, curved screen!
