The 75th Venice International Film Festival, headed up by Alberto Barbera, which runs from August 29th to September 8th in the picturesque setting of the Lido, will feature a jury led by Mexican film director Guillermo Del Toro who won the Golden Lion in 2017 for his film ‘The Shape of Water’.
Walking across the coveted red carpet will be famous visitors such as Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. The Golden Lion Honorary award will be given to both Vanessa Redgrave and David Cronenberg.
Once again this year, Tucano has created the official shopper for this event – the most important film festival in Italy, which is also among the most prestigious in the world – confirming the brand’s strong bond with the world of cinema and with all of the important cultural and artistic events surrounding it. The American film ‘First Man’, directed by American filmmaker Damien Chazelle and starring Ryan Gosling, has been chosen as the Festival’s opening film. The film depicts the NASA mission to land Neil Armstrong on the moon. The closing film will be ‘Driven’ by Nick Hamm, a movie inspired by a true story involving an FBI agent and a pilot who became an informant.
